Hello everyone.. I'm Thandi Masombuka born and bred in KZN. I'm a new owner of Thatch Haven Guesthouse which was established in 2008. My dream came to pass in March 2021 to have my own guest house. I love people and is exciting to meet all future and existing regular guests. I'm a professional nurse and enjoying taking care of people and their needs. I've been travelling to many places and worked in the UK for fourteen years, as a professional nurse. By travelling around the world, I have experienced new places & cultures, foods and made new friends. I'm ready to spoil you with our hospitality. You will feel @ home from home. The guesthouse offers a communal guest kitchen. I'm thankful and grateful for so many things, but mostly. God. Without Him I'd have nothing else to be thankful for.

All our guests experience a warm family like atmosphere, they arrive as guests and leave mostly as long life friends. We are in a safe tranquil environment, yet close to all highways, shopping Malls, NOSA training centre, Matsport Centre, Zwartkop Racing Cars, Airforce Base, Pest Control training Board, Action Cricket, Netball Centres, Supersport Park, close to Sandton, Lion Rhino Park. We are 50 min drive from OT Tambo, 40 min. drive from Lanseria Airport. We are on Gautrain Bus Route and 3km from the Gautrain Train Station. Pretoria is a lovely central city for foreigners to visit. It's conveniently on the highway to Kruger National Park, Pilansberg, Sun City, our famous Drakens Mountains, rich in history, museums, variety of the best musical theatres and live shows, 1 hour flight to Kwazulu Natal, and 2 hours flight to Cape Town and the Garden Route.

Safe neighbourhood with easy access to all your main highways from the guest house, and various training centres, sport, golf, racing car, schools churches, university, Centurion Academy, Open Window and more. We are on the Gautrain Bus Route, which makes it even easier for guests or training attendees for transport. Uber and our shuttle service is highly recommendable. Active walks and jogging in our neighbourhood. Walking distance from a smaller Shopping Mall where you can have lovely Asian food Pizza Milano offers gourmet food setting for 32 couples, and are famous for their pizza's. Launderette for personal laundry, and for long term guests a wonderful food outlet at the little Mall with prepared frozen food dishes - it takes 20 - 30 min. in an oven to prepare. Our guests is our utmost assest - we ensure that all safety measurements are in place, sanitise our property, and all people in the neighbourhood wear masks when in public.
