Our Team of 6 are very excitable and love people! It is wonderful to see as we all try and communicate with people from all over the world, sometimes it is rather difficult with the language barrier!!! But thank heavens for Technology and Translator apps. Between us at the Armagh we speak English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Sotho and Pedi! Philip and Sam are husband and wife and originate from Ireland but have lived and worked in South Africa for over 30 years. Sam loves to run, cycle and generally excercise and keep busy. Philip is our extreme Golfer and entertainer, you will either find him singing at the Pub or out on the Golf Course! So if you need to have a golf game arranged or any form of activities you only have to ask! Our Lizy, Lynette, Gladys and Dolly love to sing and dance and you will often here them singing or see them dancing about. Our two Golden retrievers are always on hand for a huge welcome but do not stay in the Guesthouse area all the time And well we also have loads and loads of family members that come and go through our door at all times So when at the Armagh you will definetely hear many a story, sing loads of songs and possibly have a dance or two!

The 4 Star Armagh Guesthouse has a beautiful theme throughout of Ireland. We come from Ireland and we thought that bringing a piece of Ireland to our other great love South Africa would be perfect. Each one of our rooms has a story! Our rooms are spacious and bright with the idea of relaxation and comfort in mind. We have a sparkling swimming pool with loungers, a lapa, television and tables and chairs scattered around. Each room has air conditioning for the heat and the cold as the East of Johannesburg can be extremely hot or extremely cold so no matter the weather we will have you covered! DSTV, Netflix and Wi-Fi throughout the guesthouse to keep guests in touch with a work area for those who have to do a bit of business! A fully equipped Gym for those who train regularly and dont want to miss a session or if you would rather have a braai our relaxing braai area is the place to be! And what would an Irish Guesthouse be without a little Irish Pub??? Well we certainly have that too. Breakfast is a feast and we make a huge deal about it! Well why not? It is the most important start to your day and we believe that it should be fun, warm and delicious! And if you ask us nicely we can also arrange a lunch or dinner for you.

The Armagh Guesthouse is situated in the perfect spot in Boksburg! We are 15 Minutes from OR Tambo International Airport and Emperors Palace Casino and Conference Centre. You can walk to popular clubs, pubs and restaurants and the East Rand Mall is literally around the corner. We are in the middle of all thats happening! You dont need to travel when at the Armagh Boksburg is well known for its African Themed Market where visitors from far and wide spend many hours buying all sorts of African ornaments, clothing and jewelry, a must see for visitors. We even have our own water park called Wild Waters where you take the kids for some water fun. You will find easy access to all the major highways and the trains which will take you into Sandton city and Pretoria.
