The Daiquiri Shaq studios are located on the West Coast peninsula on top of Patrysberg hill. The studios are contemporary, modern and tranquil in rustic surroundings on an unspoiled smallholding. Each studio boasts two private patios offering unique views of the sunrise AND the sunset over the ocean! The sunrise patio is protected from the southeaster wind and has panoramic sea views and a built-in braai/BBQ. The sunset patio has beautiful views over to Paternoster and the Columbine lighthouse and is set up for you to enjoy your evening sundowner - a Daiquiri cocktail, of course! The studios are furnished with king-size beds and the en-suite showers are spacious with both a rain shower and a wall-mounted shower. The open-plan kitchenettes are conveniently located near the braai/BBQ areas, and are equipped with fridge-freezers, gas hobs and whistling kettles, and toasters. Full WIFI with back-up UPS is provided and a TV with Netflix and YouTube is available. Guests may use their own login details to access DSTV. McArthur Park Boma is a communal entertainment area on the smallholding which affords an authentic West Coast feel with a large braai/BBQ area and a fire-pit, from where one can enjoy the abundance of stars in our vast and clear West Coast skies. There is also a mini-gym for guests who want to maintain their regimes. The Gallery is where your host - an international portrait artist - exhibits her paintings for you to browse at your leisure. Deer, tortoise, mongoose, hare and porcupine are our Big Five on the smallholding so slow driving is requested. Quiet walks with panoramic views can be enjoyed, while buzzing bars and restaurants are close by in St Helena Bay, Paternoster, Langebaan, Port Owen and Velddrif.
