The Lazy Lapa is a quirky semi-detached self-catering house with artistic, antique finishes, nestled on a small farm in the beautiful Magaliesburg, a quaint village which is only an hour away from both Johannesburg and Pretoria. The Lazy Lapa offers peace and tranquility, with the sound of birdsong and the chirping of crickets. A quiet and restful escape, surrounded by nature. A charming farm-style setting, with our roaming rooster, chickens, and tortoises. The uniquely decorated open-plan house offers: • A main bedroom, with double bed, wardrobe and desk, with big barn doors for privacy. • Two single beds in the open-plan lounge/ dining area. • The passage leads to the two bathrooms, one with a bath, the other with a shower. • The kitchen is fully-equipped with a small bar fridge, a microwave, 2-plate gas stove, 2-plate electric stove with rotisserie, electric wok, toaster, and a tea and coffee station. • Dining and lounge area, with wood-burning fireplace. • The spacious outdoor thatched lapa features a long rustic table and comfy sofas. • There is a hammock, and a lovely farm-style splash pool. • There is a large braai/barbeque area. I love entertaining and I also love crafting. Feel inspired by mosaics all around you, and see beautiful folded books in the main bedroom. Also, browse the antiques and collection of crockery on display in grandma's kitchen cupboard. All guests are personally welcomed by myself or my husband, Jan. Although we live on the same property, privacy for our guests is ensured, and we are happy to communicate via texting and email.
