The Restio Country Guesthouse is situated in the heart of the picturesque country village of Napier. Strategically placed on the Main Street, we are surrounded by the vibrant community, with restaurants and galleries all around us. The historic old building, dating back to 1896, has now been restored to its former glory…. from a tired old lady to a grand old dame (Lady in Red!), who has just celebrated her 125th Birthday! Come and be inspired, nurtured, and nourished… Experience the peace and charm of country living. The aim has been to retain the character and charm of yesteryear, and to treat you to Jonno and Maya’s warm hospitality, delicious food, and comfortable ambiance. We are wheelchair friendly, with easy access via ramps throughout the property. There is also a paraplegic guest cloakroom for guests of the guesthouse and coffee shop. Two of our Suites are pet friendly. From here, you are ideally located to explore and enjoy the abundant natural, cultural and historic attractions of the area…an easy two-hour drive from Cape Town and close to the popular beaches and fishing spots of Arniston, Struisbaai and then, of course, L’Agulhas - the Southernmost Tip of Africa!
