The Tin Shack is a rustic little cottage with spectacular views of the Southern Drakensberg, a small deck overlooking the dam perfect for your morning coffee or evening sun downers . We are situated on a small farm 11 kilometers on a tar road just outside the village of Underberg. With No TV, lots of books and games a cozy log fire this is the perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.
James and I are both born and bread in Underberg and have a great love for its surroundings. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We may not always be here to welcome you but we are always available on whatsapp or email for any questions you may have.
Underberg really does have something for everyone from Hiking, tubing, paddling, mountain biking and so many more outdoor activities to shopping, cafes, restaurants, a visit to the cheese factory, museum or art studio. A tour or self drive up the famous Sani Pass. We have a very informative information center in the clock tower center in the village of Underberg.
