The Wood Owl is a comfortable open-plan apartment with a private terrace alongside a forested area frequented by bushbuck, guinea fowls, occasional bush pigs and many bird species. Conveniently situated close to the lagoon (1 min walk) and an easy 5 min walk to the pristine beach of Natures Valley. Furnished for all your needs with clean white cotton bedding, beach and bathroom towels and a basic kitchenette, including a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine. Patio includes BBQ facilities and furniture.
Hello, my name is Robyn and I will be your host at The Wood Owl. I love meeting travellers both from near and far. When I'm not hanging out with my darling grandson, you'll find me walking in the village I love so much (Nature's Valley), gardening or cooking. I can't wait to welcome you to our little piece of paradise.
Natures Valley is a remarkably safe, peaceful and pristine village situated in the Garden Route of South Africa, surrounded on 3 sides by the unspoilt Tsitsikamma National Park and on the other side by the warm Indian Ocean. Only a 15 minute drive from Plettenberg Bay, Natures Valley offers wonderful outdoor activities such as forest hikes, cycles, lagoon and beach swims, bird watching, canoeing and more. It has plenty to do in the nearby area of The Crags, such as canyoning, wine tasting, eating out, or visiting the popular Monkey Land, Birds of Eden of wildlife sanctuaries. DIRECTIONS: - Turn into Nature’s Valley (there is only one entrance into Natures Valley). - After 120m you turn right onto St George’s Avenue (by the signs) and go up a little hill. - After 150m, there is a speed bump at the top of the hill. You will need to take your FIRST right into the driveway immediately after the speed bump. - There is a sign to look out for, ‘The Wood Owl’. Please give me a call if you have any difficulty finding us.
