Well maintained old farm house with lots of space. Using solar and bore hole, also next to a garage for your electric vehicle charge. Very comfortable sleep over spot for your journey. Lots of parking space for bigger vehicles and also enough space for caravans and trailers just drive to the back of the property and I'll open for you to park inside. We are dog friendly as well so if your allergic to animals remember your allergy medicine because we don't have a chemist/doctor or veterinarian for injured animals in town. We are a self-catering guesthouse and have The Vetmuis restaurant in town where you can enjoy a meal but please remember we're not a city that stays open 24 hours, Saturdays the town closes at 13:00 and opens again Monday morning at 8:00. I do understand that its far and it takes time to reach our town but if your late and I will wait till you arrive however for the rest of the town YOUR LATE and they will not wait for you...PLAN YOUR DAY..! We don't have a KFC (closes KFC is in Cholesburg) we also don't have a Steers (closes Steers is Three sisters) and no McDonalds (closes McDonalds is in Baufortwest or Bloemfontein).

For dinners/breakfast we have the Vetmuis plaaskombuis which serves our famous Karoo lamb. They are open Monday-Friday 08:00-19:30 Saturdays from 08:00 - 13:00. Otherwise we have Kama-lodge restaurant that's open till 21:00. The town is very small but we have the horse museum around the corner 2 big book shops and antique shop. The sheep wool duvet factory and and art gallery with a book binding place as well.
