The property is 55 hectares and offers views of the ancient Magaliesberg mountains as well as tranquil vistas of the Naauwpoort valley and hills. The area is typical highveld bushveld with exceptional natural flora and fauna. The lodge is well styled and offers the guest a feeling of peace and quiet and a feeling bushveld bliss while our staff will provide a high level of service, coupled with stunning meals.
Our team at Tidimalo Lodge will ensure that you have a peaceful and well serviced stay at at our lodge. All our staff are trained in guest services and will go out of their way to way to make sure your stay is one to remember. Our chef will prepare delicious and fresh meals for you during your time at Tidimalo Lodge and is able to cater for all your dietary requirements. Please remember to let us know if you have any allergies or unable to eat certain things as our dinner menu is generally table d'hôte.
The venue is around 1hr away from the Pilanesburg National Park and Suncity and is also close to both Rustenburg and Magaliesburg, which offers attractions such as shops to visit as well as places to eat and breweries. Maropeng, Sterkfontein caves and the Cradle of Humankind are located close to Magaliesburg and are approx a 45 min drive away. Rustenburg has the Canopy Tours as well a some great hiking trails such as Rustenburg Kloof and Mountain Sanctuary Park, these trails will take you into the ancient Magaliesberg mountains which are full of history and spectacular landscapes. Olifants Nek dam and Buffelspoort Dam are located close by and Hartebeespoort Dam is approx 1hr away. At Hartebeespoort dam there are many places of interest including the cableway that takes you to the top of the Magaliesberg mountains where you can take in the stunning views that this area has to offer.
