What stemmed from owners Matt & Tertia building their dream home in 2017, with three additional luxury apartments nestled along the coastline of St. Helena Bay, True North was born. True North is more than just a getaway. It’s a sanctuary and an escape. It’s a holiday for your soul, a place to escape where you can switch off and take in the sounds of the crashing waves in the background. Enjoy a glass of bubbly on your private balcony, or curl up with a good book in your bed. The luxury apartments with private entrances and secured parking can accommodate 2 adults. Ocean 1 and 3 is equipped with DSTV, Wi-Fi and an alarm system. Whereas Ocean 2 is equipped with Netflix, Wi-Fi and an alarm system. The open-plan kitchenettes are fully equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, air-fryer, kettle, toaster, electric egg boiler, cutlery, crockery and a Nespresso Coffee machine. High-end linen dons the beds and luxury towels hang in the bathrooms. Beach towels are provided. Complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar is provided. St Helena Bay is one of the most popular bays for whales to visit and calve from August to November, the Southern Right Whales come in to the bay to calve and can be viewed from the shore all around the bay. It is situated in such a way that it is the only place on the West Coast where quests can watch the sun rise over the sea and when the sun sets. Of course, if you’re looking to explore St. Helena Bay, you can breakfast at Die SeeSter Kombuis, and indulge in seafood at Alegria or at Oppikaai at the harbour.
