UNIQUE was NEWLY RENOVATED in 2025. Our unique, cozy and colorful holiday house is perfectly situated between Cape Town CBD and Cape Point, and just 5 minutes to the beach and wineries. The home is on a half-acre with a lush garden, black bottom pool, three decks, a fire pit, and a built-in braai/bar-b-que. It is the ideal home for outdoor entertaining and relaxing. There are views of mountains all around, and it is very private and peaceful. This is not your typical ultra-modern house that so many hosts have put up. It is warm, open and friendly, all done in good taste. The property is sloping slightly, and the house has three split levels. The garden and pool areas are exceptional, a place to relax and enjoy the sun and fun. The property is secure with electric gate. The pool and garden are maintained twice a week.

What can I say, I'm very personable, easy going and I enjoy socializing with friends, old and new. I'm a Sound Healing Practitioner and Transformational Teacher. I provide deeply relaxing group and individual Sound Baths off and onsite. I'm also filmmaker - you probably know a couple of my films. I have travelled extensively, in over 60 countries. I'm an American citizen and have been living in South Africa since 1995. I have an extensive knowledge of South Africa, much of it gained from the films I have made here, and I can share some of the lesser know places to visit and activities to try out, as well as the more popular destinations and activities. The house is situated in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, with many trees, plants and flowers. Hout Bay is for nature lovers, with beaches just 5 minutes from the house, and lots of nearby mountain walks and hikes, such as Oranjekloof and Constantia Nek. After coming back from Constantia Nek there is a wonderful restaurant across the street from the parking lot with outdoor seating and great views.
