The Beach House has a great deal to offer by way of facilities but above all else, the views of the ocean from both upstairs and downstairs are stunning. In fact, the ocean is literally a stone’s throw away from its front door. Comprising 4 upstairs en-suite bedrooms – all sea-facing with access to a shared balcony. All the rooms have their own smart TVs with a link to Netflix and DSTV. There are 2 lounges –one upstairs and the other downstairs, a dining area, a sunroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is an outside garden/patio area with braai facilities. In addition, there are three lock-up garages all remotely controlled. The beach house has got literally everything you would need for you to feel that it is a home away from home. It can cater to up to 10 people.

Gerry is her sister-in-law and Terry is Shirley’s partner. We are both of an age where we can boast of having reached the milestone of ‘3 scores and 10’. And you may ask why on earth are we offering to host the Beach House at our age and the simple answer is to keep the body, mind, and soul active, and to make the most of what life has to offer. Notwithstanding the fact that we also enjoy the interaction, we have with our guests. Vic Bay is a cluster of charming waterfront homes, a safe, idyllic, family–friendly beach, excellent surfing, and a perfect moderate climate. Small but big in spirit, and an ideal place from which to explore the Garden Route. Surf competitions are often held at Victoria Bay and despite its small size, it is a well-known and much-visited spot. Dolphins are regular visitors year-round, delighting visitors with their athletic wave-defying jumps and sometimes even joining the surfers at the point. The most sighted contenders include Heaviside’s Dolphin, Common Dolphin, Dusky Dolphin, and Bottlenose Dolphin And of course, if you just want to chill out, soak in the sun and breathe in the smell of the sea you are not going to get much better than staying at Vic Bay Beach House.
