Waboom Family Farm was created in November 2022 during the purchase of the land and the vision was almost immediately created. We fell in love at the first step onto its earth which we hope extends to our guests. We are a creative and hospitable family who will welcome you onto Waboom Family Farm. We have moved from the city onto a 128 Ha farm in a silent valley of Stanford, surrounded by hills and mountains. The farm has lots of water which runs clear and pure from two springs and two rivers. We have revived the hundred year old farmhouse and dilapidated cottages into a home for our family and into guest accommodation. Sharing the peace that this farm has to offer. To find tranquillity, beauty and silence within nature and raise our family in this healthy way. We are working on creating grief workshops, a creative retreat and a regenerative space. Waboom Family Farm is situated in a beautiful valley in Stanford Rural surrounded by well established farms like Sondagskloof, Hermanus Pietersfontein Wine Farm, Brunia Wine Farm and Laughing Waters. Take a scenic drive (40 minutes) along the Lagoon to Hermanus which has beautiful beaches, whale watching, coastal boardwalk and lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Stanford town is a 20 minute drive away, mostly along a dirt road. Stanford is a pretty Cape Victorian town with artistic shops and restaurants.
