It was cheap

Very friendly staff, super convenient location to walk around the city. Electric car charging was easy and available in the car park. The room was well laid out with interconnecting doors for family. Would recommend the Ibis Bourges to stay!

The room is exactly ibis standard . This is ok.

Upmarket Ibis (Styles) in a location which was convenient for us to break our journey from the Mediterranean Coast. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Weather was quite hot during our stay, so the swimming pool was much appreciated. Nearby restaurant was also good.

We had a late check-in and the staff was very friendly and explained where to pick up the keys (ibis reception next door). The guy there was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was new. Great place at a cheap price if you want to crash for the night and split your journey

We had a fine and large room, and we admired that handicapped people were also welcome and that the hotel was designed accordingly. Quite frankly, we had never heard about Mehun-sur-Yèvre before, so we were amazed by its old town, its castle and in particular the fine park divided by the multiple branches of the river. An arboretum belonging to the hotel extends the Park. So both the hotel and the town were a very pleasant surprise.

I keep coming back here for three simple reasons: - Problem-free checking in when arriving late: check-in terminal works perfectly and spits out the room key. - The wifi always works OK and is simple to set up on each device, similarly simple like e.g. Ibis hotel chains. - It's possible to (5kW only, so slow) charge my EV for free at 200m walking from the hotel, at the Péage exit parking lot
