I reckon that is is the best choice in the area for value , comfort ,and atmosphere.really nice bathrooms and comfortable beds . Good food and drinks at the bar and restaurant or outside in summer . Staff are freindly and helpful. Lovely walks in the area too!

We loved everything. The building was amazing. The staff was brilliant. The food was lovely. The price was very good. The bathroom was lovely considering the age of the building (1542, I think) full walk-in shower with rainfall shower head and the water pressure was perfect. The hotel is above the pub on a main street in Chester, yet it was really quiet in the room.
