The Männlichen Cable Car and the village centre are only a short walk away. The hotel is just above the main street and is a 10 minute walk from the station, and 3 minutes uphill from the main street, which makes it a bit more of a quiet area and is a nice place to relax. The views from the balcony (off of the room) of the valley were stunning. The staff were so friendly and helpful - we wouldn't hesitate to stay the next time we are in the area. We only had the breakfast which featured many local products which was super nice to have to get your day started.

If you're looking for a place where the atmosphere is cozy and warm, and where the staff make you feel as comfortable as if you were at home, this is the perfect destination.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn.

Some of the rooms offer a view of the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh mountains, which are over 4,000 m high. Great view from our room. Very close proximity to the station and gondola. Staff was helpful and the breakfast was convenient. The same goes for the restaurant. We were able to fraternize with fellow travelers as well.

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.
