Albergo Ristorante della Posta ligt vlak aan het meer van Lugano, in het centrum van Morcote, en beschikt over een restaurant aan het meer, privétoegang tot het meer en er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable. The hotel staff was fantastic—relaxed, kind, and always helpful. They found me an adapter for electricity I didn't have, gave me the key to the beach even though it was not swimming season (in case I still wanted to go there), a waiter in the restaurant was full of positive energy, and I enjoyed listening to his Italian. The pizza in the restaurant was extraordinarily good and it was so nice to eat it on the hotel terrace (with the view of the lake). The hotel's location was perfect, it is in the very center of Morcote, stairs for climbing to the church and views of Morcote were very near, bus station is immediately in front of the hotel, and the main pier for boats is also there. If you are coming from Lugano and Melide (probably), I recommend to choose boat for a part of the travel- it is great to be on Lugano Lake. In Morcote, don't miss Parco Scherrer- it is not too big, but it is more museum than the park, and peace and beauty there were one of the top moments of my whole Switzerland travel.

Ristorante Stazione is gelegen in Tesserete, op 8,3 km van treinstation Lugano, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Uitstekende keuken in het restaurant en een uitgebreid ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en een ganse familie die je met open armen ontvangt (en veel talen spreekt: Italiaans, Frans, Engels, Duits...)

La Comanella is gelegen in Comano, op 5,4 km van treinstation Lugano, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. Nice swimming pool, good beds, nice warm welcome
