The Beetroot is a gem in every way from its funky courtyard which is a haven of calm to the care and creative flair that has been put into every room. We booked out 3 of the 4 rooms and loved all of them. Paul has done a fantastic job creating this boutique style hotel which encapsulates Margate's artistic and quirky side. He was also an extremely friendly and helpful host.

Amazing place to stay. The pub is delightful with a great outdoor area. The room we stayed in (Bacchus) was wonderful - really quirky but in a nice way. Really enjoyed our stay. Service was excellent as was the food. Can’t fault any of it and lovely overnight stay for us.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Beautiful inn with historical character. Very comfortable rooms and beds with modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean. Adequate free parking in the lot outside. Very nice small touches like a small thermos of fresh milk left outside the door every morning for tea. Absolutely outstanding fully cooked breakfast supplemented with Continental breakfast items as well. An additional plus was the absolutely delicious evening meals available in the Restaurant/Pub located downstairs. The chef running the kitchen is clearly very talented. The Queen's Inn surpassed our expectations on all counts, and we would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

Tutto fantastico! Locanda del 1400 una vera emozione. Cibi buonissimo e staff davvero straordinario. Consigliatissimo!

Bellissimo hotel in perfetto stile inglese. Vicinissimo alle mura del centro storico di Canterbury, con parcheggio privato per gli ospiti. Servizio accogliente, simpatico e gentile. Si dorme meravigliosamente, e la colazione è speciale .

Super cosy and welcoming☺️I felt safe and seen which is nice as a solo female traveler, or anyone for that matter. Staff were helpful and very friendly and the place was exactly the type i was looking for on my little medieval themed trip. A handsome bartender at the Maidens Head in the late evenings was a little bonus🤭 other than this, close to the train station which is a huge plus and walking distance into the city. Very pleased with my stay☀️
