The Apple Inn is an award-winning family-owned Northumbrian country pub, located in the centre of Lucker. Wonderfully authentic and yet modern and in good taste. Would love to go again.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating of our needs: we were late to check-in and they made sure to ask if we wanted to eat at the pub. The room is spacious and luminous with plenty of sockets, an adequate armoire and armchairs and a side table. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower is good. Breakfast was grand, with good choices, from a very generous fry up to an abundant porridge. The last day we had to leave early and they packed us a breakfast roll with a coffee! We also dined thrice in the pub, there is a good choice, food is good, portions are big and the price is very nice. There is also a good choice of beers and a fantastic cider.

Very well located hôtel on the Hadrian’s Wall path. Accomodation is OK even if the rooms are a bit small when I have arrived with my backbag. Very good food for diner and breakfast. A room is dedicated for the walkers to have diner & breakfast. Definitely good hotel/restaurant recommended.
