The location is beautiful and very convenient for the Whitworth Institute. I loved my cozy room, the comfy bed, the lovely, clean bathroom with the fantastic shower, the thoughtful coffee and tea amenities, the witty proprietor, Alan and his courteous, talented and considerate staff, the tasteful decor and the wonderful welcome. I'm so pleased I chose the Square and Compass and I'm greatly looking forward to my next stay. Very highly recommended!

Check in was easy and staff actually took us to our room. There are only 5 rooms and nobody was noisy. The pub has excellent food and many people who were eating at dogs which were all well behaved. The bathrooms are remodeled, and breakfast is brought to your room. Good parking behind the Bull's Head.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The White Hart Apartment Church View offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. We stayed here as a family whilst visiting Alton Towers. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing! Would highly recommend a visit and we would definitely stay again.

Letti e cuscini molto comodi. Bagno ampio. Avrei voluto potermi fermare un giorno in più per provare il cibo del ristorante che sembrava ottimo! Staff gentilissimo e ottimo servizio d'ingresso notturno.

Situato a circa 19 km da Sheffield, nel cuore del Peak District, il Plough Inn di Hathersage è una locanda del 16° secolo nel Derbyshire. Charming place with kind and helpful staff. Spacious room is separated from the bar and the restaurant so there is no noise. Food for dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was also fabulous. Spent just one night but would definitely come back again to explore Peak District.
