This is an amazing and, I would even say a special place. The setting is very remote and private, but you have everything that you need. The houses are very modern and very well arranged, with the view to the ocean. The area around is simply fascinating, as the nature is really beautiful and there is enough possibilities for making a walking tours. Almost no tourists. One can enjoy the misterious Costa del Morta. In 5 min.drive from Cabanas there is a small village/town Camarinas, and there one can find restaurants and shops. Two evenings we were in Taberna do Bico, and I can recommend this place: exceptional fresh fish and seafood, and a very good choise of wines. In addition the place is dine in a modern way and with taste.

An owner is an incredibly nice and helpful person. There is a stunning view at the lake and mountains from the house. You can lay in jaccuzi and see the lake through the huge window-walls. Amazing place. Awesome breakfast delivered by an owner. 100% recommended. It is also a great place if you go Camino Finistere. You may arrange with an owner a pick-up from Santa Marinha or Olveiroa. So you can go your way and stay in a nice & comfortable place.

We loved this place. It’s very quiet and peaceful, in the middle of nature but still close to a small town and beautiful beaches (2–3 km). The accommodation is fantastic – lovely little houses on legs, a great terrace with a hot tub, and a fully equipped kitchen. We had dinner on the terrace, then relaxed in the hot tub with a view of the bay and the town. Everything inside was beautiful and well designed. In the morning, breakfast was delivered in a basket, and we enjoyed it outside. It was a perfect stay.

After a warm and very friendly welcome we had a great stay. The apartment is very nice and comfy. The possibility to wash our clothes was very helpful and appreciated by us. An excellent place!
