The location was just what we were looking for, we didn't have time to use the spa facilities. Beautiful decoration in harmony with the building. The body care products were very welcome after a long day out, also a hairdryer. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was superb and plentiful. Everything piping hot and good quality produce. An ideal hotel for anyone planning to explore Yorkshire.

Private hot tub just outside the room overlooking the field. We overlooked the sunset, then once it got dark and turned the garden lights off, we were enveloped by a starry sky. I saw a shooting star! it was just incredible. Moody room with dimmable lighting throughout was so nice, the best decor I've ever seen in British accommodation. Proximity to the restaurant. We wanted somewhere with a hot tub but not self-catered and not a driving distance to a restaurant. the restaurant was a few seconds walk away from our room. Just perfect! We spent most of our stay in the hot tub and it was so relaxing. The hot tub was ready to go in and was very clean! Optimal temp too. Complemented the cold February air very well.

Having been the same time last year we knew what to expect. Pods are well equipped with almost everything you need for a short stay. Bed and couch are comfortable. Also a joy to sit in the hot tub and watch the sun go down and look at the wildlife. Good location for exploring and very quiet.

Loved the whole thing. Hot tub lovely, relaxing and private. Hosts were very welcoming and provided great communication. Was brilliant just sitting on the cosy sofa watching all the wildlife outside. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Property has been done to a really high spec, All mod cons but retains the cottage feel. Super warm and cosy, we didn’t want to leave. Hot tub is a treat, didn’t have to warm it up either it was ready to go! Have to say well done to you both it’s a fabulous getaway! And it’s like a tardis inside. Quite deceiving. Beautiful views and outside seating area.
