I had an incredible stay at A Point Porto Ercole Resort & Spa. The breakfast was excellent, with an impressive variety of fresh options — eggs cooked exactly to your liking. The highlight, however, was dining at the rooftop restaurant. I had some of the best food of my 10-day trip in Italy — and I ate a lot of amazing meals! Truly out-of-this-world flavors. I highly recommend the appetizer Misticanza con mais e olive taggiasche and the dessert Pralina di nocciola affogata allo zabaione di marsala invecchiato (I loved it so much I had it twice!). What really sets this resort apart is the staff and the service. I felt genuinely welcome and cared for — treated in a way I’ve only wished for in other luxury hotels. Every team member truly wanted me to feel wonderful, and their warmth made me feel valued, almost spoiled — but sometimes, that’s exactly what you deserve! A stay here is not just a hotel visit; it’s a memorable experience, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Valle Del Buttero exceeded our expectations in ALL ways. We arrived very late in the evening and the entrance was candle-lit, very welcoming. Every member of the staff we interacted with was friendly yet professional. We found our room to be spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a small balcony with table and chairs that was just perfect for mornings. The Breakfast: beyond excellent. Local fresh breads/pastries, meats and cheeses, cakes, fruit, real local juices, fresh yogurt and fantastic cappuccino.... We will be back, that is certain. My only regret is not learning the name of the friendly black cat that greeted us.

Resort Capalbio is set between the sea and the town, and offers a free shuttle to Capalbio Train Station. Rooms and cottages are set in renovated farm buildings, surrounded by 3 hectares of parkland.

We loved everything about our stay at La Tordara. Even with two little babies, the house offered a lot of comfort. The views are breathtakingly beautiful and it’s a good base to explore the rest of the island from.

Close to Giannella Beach, Residenza Turistico Alberghiera Le Poste del Pianone is set in Santa Liberata and has a hot tub and garden.

Location - beautiful area to explore and views were spectacular. Blockout blinds and shutters on all windows - great feature that isn’t advertised. Aircons worked well.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Frontemare is situated in Porto Santo Stefano. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a balcony.

A big apartment with enormous terrace with a wonderful view! We loved every minute staying there :) Also you can catch sunrise from the terrace.

Just 200 metres from its private beach, Villa Smeraldo is in the Orbetello Lagoon protected area. Halfway between Orbetello and Porto Santo Stefano, it features air-conditioned rooms with LCD TVs.

It was a nice quiet hotel with a beautiful pool. We rented bikes from the hotel to go to the Ultima Spiaggia beach and back (about 10 mins by bike). The breakfast was fine and the dinner was fine too. The staff was helpful.
