Our stay at Ca pagan was beautiful. The room so elegantly presented.. staff were really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was beautiful sitting outside in the private courtyard.. such a beautiful place to stay. Nice n quiet so it's nice coming back after exploring through venice.

Location cannot be better. It is just in front of the basilica. We had the room at the top floor. It is very well furnished witv space utilized in the best possible way. There is even a sauna in the room. We were very happy with it all.

The room was gorgeous! We loved the location, it is a more residential neighbourhood, away from the busy crowds, with nice restaurants close by. 10 min walk from bus station/Vaporetto. 30ish min walk to San Marco Square. Lots of sights within 10-20 mins walk. Great breakfast and genuinely friendly and helpful staff. We jaded a fantastic stay here.

San Marco was booked up, but that was a blessing….we found San Clemente, it’s own island paradise in Venice only a 10 minute boat ride away and out of the chaos. Coming back to beautiful grounds, gardens, pool..& all in an historic building. Even a sculpture garden. It was a complete respite. Food and staff were incredible and the property value for money.

This boutique hotel is sublime. We stayed in room 112 (The Moorish Suite) with the canal-view balcony and couldn't be happier. The hotel's decor and signature scent are elegant and memorable. The staff goes above and beyond to make every moment enjoyable. They were also knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. The hotel is located in a quiet corner of Venice amidst galleries and residential housing. The Traghetto and Vaporetto stops are nearby. We were greeted by the very personable hotel owner and welcomed with a round of drinks. The traghetto to St. Mark's Piazza costs about 2 Euro a person and is about a block away... a much cheaper option than the Vaporetto. We chose to walk everywhere, but remember that doing so puts you about 25-30 minutes from certain areas as the Grand Canal only has three bridges. The hotel's restaurant recommendations were excellent. Breakfast is a la carte, and you can order from a long list of options. Everything was delicious. We will stay here again in the future.

Lovely quiet spot, easy to get into Venice. Lots of spaces for travelling with extended family. Great supplies in the kitchen, which was very handy when just arrived in Italy. Danny was friendly had provided great advice about Venice.
