This place is an absolute gem; the location, the set up, the serenity - incredibly special. Lynne and Paul have build an absolute dreamland. If you are looking to book this resort and have the means, for sure book the villa; it’s incredibly special! I’d also highly recommend having dinner here as well, the meat is sensational. The service is exceptional and the staff made us feel so at home. An experience we will never forget, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

This historic property was built in 1906 and has been refurbished to highlight the original fireplaces and stained glass windows. The property was warm and inviting. We loved the beautiful and kept property from the moment we walked up to it. Everything is perfect with attention to detail down to the smallest of items. We loved the above and beyond creature comforts that made this stay even more comfortable, including an espresso maker, fresh cookies and a homemade almond cake. Perfect location for a casual stroll, admiring other Victorian-esque homes and stunning water views in the beautiful Battery Pointe neighborhood with several coffee shops within a few blocks and the Salamanca market within a 10 minute walk. The view from the colored, glass pans was surreal. The bed was very comfortable and conducive to a fantastic night’s sleep. Property is the perfect size with under 10 rooms which allows for an intimate and personal staycation. Whether focused on admin work, sightseeing, or an intimate affair, the Grande Vue is your home away from home. The owner, Ash, helps in all ways possible. For us, he helped turned a disastrous start to a Tasmanian adventure with lost luggage that was later coupled with a medical emergency into a cozy and relaxing environment where we could conquers challenges in a relaxed way. Can’t say enough about our stay here. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back to complete our Tassie adventure.

Featuring a spa bath, a fireplace and a private balcony with native forest views, Woodbridge Hill Hideaway is just 5 minutes’ drive from Great Bay. Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, bread & cereal. There was also juice, coffee and a good range of teas to choose from. The fridge also had some beers and mixers in if at very reasonable price if you happen to run out of your Own drinksm plus there were some great red & white wines. The location was great and the views were awesome

The electric fire was lovely. Shower was great. Opposite the pub and a short walk to see the penguins. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
