The rooftop jacuzzi with a stunning view of the castle was the highlight – incredibly romantic and perfect for unwinding. A perfect place for a calm, cozy, and romantic stay. The location is great: peaceful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Everything in the hotel is brand new and decorated with great taste – you can feel the care and attention in every detail. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The spa area was very clean, and again, the jacuzzi with the castle view was unforgettable. We also really appreciated the opportunity to use the spa even on the day of checkout – such a thoughtful touch that made our departure feel just as relaxing as the rest of our stay. Special thanks to Yasin Karan from reception, the entire team, and the hotel owner for creating such a beautiful place and providing excellent service. You made our stay truly special.

The location is amazing. Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

TUTTO Praticamente è stato l'hotel più bello in cui siamo mai stati, e di hotel a 4 e 5 stelle ne abbiamo visti. Prima di tutto la struttura è perfetta, non una macchia, non una chiazza di muffa in piscina, niente, tutto perfetto .. la sala spa enorme e piena di saune, la piscina esterna bellissima in un giardino da sogno, la piscina interna rilassante e grande, la stanza perfetta e poi... Il cibo. Altissimo livello. Davvero altissimo. Mai mangiato meglio, qualità e quantità. Nota per me essenziale: hotel non per ragazzini o animali, un silenzio ed un relax mai provati prima. Noi siamo una coppia senza figli e cerchiamo posti in cui è possibile rilassarsi e questo hotel ha soddisfatto pienamente le aspettative. Finiamo con il dire che il nostro carissimo cameriere, di origini calabresi, è stato simpaticissimo e disponibile e chiacchierare in italiano in una zona non molto frequentata da turisti italiani è stato davvero la ciliegina sulla torta. Ripeto, il miglior hotel in cui siamo stati.

The location enabled a short walk/hike and be lost within the beauty of the Black Forrest National Park. We had the pleasure of a local guide (At no cost & organised through Engel Orbetal) taking us through with a wealth of knowledge and just enjoying the beautiful nature we were surrounded in.

Our stay was incredible. The atmosphere was calming and truly cocoon-like — the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Everything felt thoughtful, cozy, and relaxing. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended !

A wonderful, hidden gem, surrounded by forest and farm land. They're not used to having American's nor English staying, which added to the charm and tranquility. The rooms in the hunting lodge were beautiful and peaceful. The food was exceptional, we ate all all three restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, best bread ever! The Spa was probably the best spa I've ever visited. The treatments were excellent and reasonably priced. Tina is an outstanding masseuse I thought the overall price was reasonable for the services and amenities.
