I liked everything about this hotel, from the varied and delicious breakfast to the kind and helpful staff at the desk. Everywhere smelled amazing. An easy walk to the old town. Lovely traditional Cretan bakery a few metres away and a well-stocked supermarket up the road. Shower pressure was incredible!

We arrived on 26th august and the receptionist on duty was outstanding she should get a promotion so friendly nice and helpful she went over and beyond and made sure to check us in before sunset which was outstanding from the room. The room is new comfortable and has everything you need and welcome champagne the pool Has a great view. The bed is super comfortable the design is nice the cosmetics is great. Very convenient from the airport. Free parking

Our family had an absolutely amazing stay at Creta Maris Resort this August. From the very beginning, the experience exceeded our expectations. We were kindly upgraded to a beautiful room with a stunning sea view, which set the tone for a perfect holiday. The entire resort was excellent in every way – the facilities, the cleanliness, the food, and the overall atmosphere made our vacation unforgettable. I especially want to mention Eleni from Customer Relations, who was truly outstanding. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. During our time there, we celebrated my wife’s birthday, and Eleni organized a wonderful dinner with a delicious birthday cake and an incredible view. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch that meant a lot to us. Thank you to the whole team at Creta Maris Resort for making our family trip so special. We will definitely come back!

Built in 1925 and classified as a monument, the GDM Megaron is located in the heart of Heraklion, overlooking the old Venetian port and within walking distance of all the major sights of the city. The atmosphere, and everything was wonderful

Personalized reach out from staff on WhatsApp prior to checking in. Friendly welcome, even after check in hours. Loved the scents chosen, even as we walked into the place and especially the quality of the scents and products in the bathroom! (I’m literally trying to source them so I can enjoy at home!!). Our kids adored the breakfast buffet and the location, walking out to the central square was just so special!!!

It took me a week to write this review just because I didn't know how to write one that would do our vacation justice. Antonis was the kindest host; he welcomed us from the moment we arrived, assisted us with everything we needed throughout the vacation (there was a small ant infestation that he got rid of within hours) and even advised us on what to visit, going as far as to call acquaintances to give us some boat tour options. 😊 The room was nothing short of dreamy, more spatious than the photos give it justice, with every facility you might need (fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, hairdryer, iron & table for ironing, makeup table) and a breathtaking view of the coast at any time of the day. There's an AC in both of the rooms, and the walls are perfectly designed for temperature isolation so that not much of the heat gets inside if you keep the doors closed. Clean, tidy, and intimate, with an exit to the balcony from both the bedroom and the living room, sunbeds, and a hot tub with lights, music and bubble jets that exceeded expectations— especially in the evening, when the breeze made bathing even better. The surroundings are characteristic to a more picturesque Crete, being a bit further away from the crowds and buildings, which sets an incredibly peaceful ambience, with fireflies and sheep noise in the distance. (I loved the sheep bleating.) There aren't really insects otherwise! Everything was mosquito free. The location also welcomes you with a lovely parrot named Riko, who may seem shy at first but has an amazingly charming and sociable personality, if you're patient enough to give him attention everytime you pass by. We promised Antonis we'll come back again, and we will; it's a shame to only stay at this hotel once.
