The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean and have large windows, which gives the feeling to be in the middle of nature. The diving equipment, boat and guides are great and allow for excellent diving experience. However, don't miss to do the activities as well. The local guides are really nice people and can tell a lot about the local life and things to see on the tours. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I was able to catch the sunset while I was at their gym and it was breathtaking. Nice rooftop area for chilling alone, with friends, or with family. And the surrounding area is pretty lively. Toraja Misiliana Hotel is located at the centre of Toraja, 2 km from Rantepao Town. Facing Sa’dan River, it offers an outdoor pool, 2 dining options and free parking on site. I always stay at Misiliana when I come to Toraja. The staff are friendly, the accomodation is nice and it is one of the very few places in Toraja where there is a lovely bar that makes cocktails. Perfect for relaxing in the afternoon after a big day of ceremonies etc. The breakfast selection is very good and the dinner menu is ample to get you through. There are onsite massages, atm and a little grocery store.

The hotel is a low-rise white building located among fields and with views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel's main attraction is the large pool which is a hot 'onsen' rather than a cool swimming pool and was a very comfortable refuge from the cool and rainy highland weather when we were there. The room, bathroom and breakfast were all satisfactory. The broad corridors and white decor create a spacious, well-ventilated feel.
