Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon offers luxurious accommodation in Hnappavellir. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and hotel bar. Breakfast was Brilliant and lasted us all day so that was great

Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs asub Ida-mägismaal Vatnajökulli rahvuspargi piiril. Laugarfellist saate paljudele matkaradadele ja Askja juurde viiva tee lähedal. The staff were so friendly and personable. Very clean facilities. The hot pools were amazing, especially after a long day of hiking. Loved the isolated surroundings as well. Very relaxing and secluded.

Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.

Glacier World - Hoffell Guesthouse is located in Hoffell. It offers brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi access, and view of mountains. The Route 1 Ring Road is just 3 km away. perfect view, near hot tub under the starly sky, near the glacier

Aia, grillimisvõimaluse ja terrassiga Guesthouse Birkifell asub Höfnis. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. Köögis on nõudepesumasin, mikrolaineahi ja kõik muu vajalik. Privaatsetes vannitubades on dušš. Gorgeous cabin in the mountains, hit tub was perfect for stargazing while staying warm. So peaceful and the bed was comfy - best sleep we had on this trip! Would definitely come back!
