Maurizio was very accommodating especially as we missed a turn and was later arriving than planned. The house was at the end of a traditional Sardinian road and was so peaceful, the garden was cute and had a bbq and dining area outside, and through the gate was a little path to a very private beach. It was actually closer than the pictures give the impression of and the shower after using the beach was so warm. The house just gives you a warm hug, and had enough comfortable seating for the 6 of us to relax and dine in or out. Having three bedrooms downstairs with one en-suite and the other 2 others sharering a bathroom was great. On the mezzanine was another bedroom with its own bathroom and seating area. It was very traditional and we all loved it. Also, being close to a lovely little town that had everything you could need, ice cream parlour, supermarket, garage and cafes and restaurant just made it even more perfect. If you want cosy this is for you.

We also had dinner at the hotel one night with traditional Sardinian food, live music and dance. Perfect experience. I’ll come back for sure.

At the Bue Marino you are welcomed by the team of friendly staff who will be delighted to help you with tourist information and recommendations. This place is heaven. It s a small, authentic, charming hotel where you feel very welcome. The location is a dream:the sea and the harbour are literally at your feet. The room had a balcony that was inviting to sit for a moment. The breakfast was very extensive and served on the terrasse on the rooftop where you had a panoramic view on the mountains, the sea and the harbour . To go to the beach you could use towels especially for that Mather. Free. The place Cala Gonone is small and not destroyed by tourism. No gigantic buildings here. You can visit the dreamy beaches with a boat trip. Really:perfect!!!

The hotel is located in front of the see which has a beautiful view, the room is very clean, all staff are friendly, breakfast and dinner are very delicious ….. highly recommend .
