What’s not to like… we had the best room in the ryokan, super spacious room, had a huge bathroom, shower and a private open air onsen. We had a living room and a bedroom, the space we had was probably bigger than our apartment back home! Dinner and breakfast was beautifully presented, I literally was so relaxed I lost myself there. Wish I booked it for more than one night!

The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

YaNMAR SUNSET MARINA CLUBHOUSE&HOTEL asub Moriyamas, 19 km kaugusel Enryaku-ji templist. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja restoran. With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

Featuring a hot tub, FarmStay INN Sanzaemontei 三左衛門邸 別館 wide room - One group per day, one building available for exclusive use is set in Takashima. Everything was just great! The host was so kind and helpful. I wish we could stay longer.

Featuring garden views, IZA近江舞子 features accommodation with balcony, around 24 km from Sanzen-in Temple. Built in 2022, the property includes sauna and hot tub. Supplied breakfast was great. The whole facility was excellent, especially the outdoor area with sauna, hot tub and fire.

Situated in Takashima and only 50 km from Sanzen-in Temple, FarmStayINN 母屋 Sanzaemon-tei GuestHouse Second floor Shiga-Takasima Traditional Japanese architecture house Limited to one group per day... I reached the property quite late in the night, and the landlord lady is patient and wait for you, tried her best to use translate app to introduce the facilities of the rooms. The room is very big with a kitchen room, really enjoy the time there.

Boasting a hot spring bath, Dantokan Kikunoya is located a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station. Free pick-up from the station is available upon advance request. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)
