And the daily cleaning was superb (I accidentally walked into the lady cleaner, so I saw everything she was cleaning, just in between days with is having the room). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!

The woods surrounding the house were really beautiful, and food was really good - ideal for anyone wanting to escape and rest in a quiet area

Shikano Resort ligt op 16 minuten lopen van station Nara en 18 km van Iwafune Shrine, en is voorzien van gratis WiFi en een tuin. Wonderful stay! We were in town for a conference and really enjoyed the Shikano accomodation! It was very spacious, clean and all amenities (like iron, nice towels and bedding) were taken care of! The owner was very friendly and self checkin went very smooth. The quiet neighborhood really provides you with rest after a busy day. We loved it and would absolutely come again!

We regret not spending more time there. The temple is sublime. Communication with the owner was very pleasant. An ideal place for a retreat to recharge your batteries.
