The surroundings were beautiful and the room was absolutely pristine.

They even organized a tour of the sights in Anuradhapura for us, which was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation itself was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. I liked very much the modern design. Breakfasts were perfect, with fresh fruit every day and delicious dishes. We felt right at home here, and thanks to that, we take away beautiful memories. Thank you for everything! We would love to come back and can only highly recommend this place. 😊

The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.
