The bedroom was incredibly relaxing, and the pool was perfect, especially given the hot weather in Anuradhapura. The property is spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail in its design is evident, making it an excellent choice for guests. They even took the time to ask what could be improved for future stays, showing their commitment to constant improvement. Mr. Udaya is a truly humble and gracious host.

The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.
