We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Boutique by Sa. We learnt so much from the owner who goes out of his way to make sure one has a great time!! Many thanks for the amazing visit! We would love to stay here again someday!

Hornbill Forest Habarana asub Habaranas, Pidurangala kaljult 11 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. Kohapeal on restoran, ühine köök ja toateenindus. We literally had a hornbill perched in the tree outside our balcony when we checked in to our room... loved that it's close enough to town but nestled inside a lush green jungle. The shower brings the outdoors in without creepy crawlies getting in your way in the room. Excellent balance of jungle and key modern necessities. Great breakfast and incredibly attentive staff. Clean and neat. Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of nature. Close to Minneriya.

Set in Anuradhapura, 15 km from Anuradhapura Railway Station and 16 km from Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, කැලෑව Jungle Eco Resort offers a garden and air conditioning. Janaka is THE host—truly exceptional in the hospitality scene in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home, while also being highly professional and attentive to all our needs. He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.

Aia, terrassi, restorani ja baariga Ritigala Hideaway asub Habaranas. Pidurangala kalju jääb umbes 24 km, Sigiriya kalju 25 km ja Ritigala metsaklooster 8,3 km kaugusele. The accommodations are quiet, comfortable and clean in a relaxing environment amongst the trees. The food was healthy and tasty. A number of useful services are available: Wi-Fi, tours, airport transfer. The hosts are most helpful and pleasant.

Lopsaka troopilise rohelusega ümbritsetud Village Garden Inn pakub lihtsat ja kodust majutust 11,5 km kaugusel Anuradhapura iidsest linnast ja Anuradhapura raudteejaamast. Our stay at V.G.I. was fantastic. We initially planned to stay for two days, but ended up staying a week. The longer we stayed, the more we enjoyed it—not just the accommodation, but the experiences we had. As nature lovers, we aimed to observe as many animals as possible, and we succeeded 100%. Some of our favorite sightings included giant hornbills, iguana, jardon's nightjar, giant squirrels, paradise flycatchers, pond herons, crocodiles, deer, and elephants. For transportation to Ihala Kottiyaba, there are buses from the new bus station in Anuradhpra at 12:00, 14:30, and 18:00. Alternatively, you can go to the Parasangavewa junction and take a tuk-tuk (or a3-hour walk :). What we loved most: -The friendly and helpful people in the surrounding villages. They will take care of you. -Our host, Muthalif. Everyone in the 20 km area knows him, so you can explore freely and still feel safe. -Great day trips with visits to lakes and forests, and meeting wonderful people. (We ended up at W.N park once,  didnt pay for safari or anything.) -Crocodiles cruising the nearby lake every morning after sunrise. -The delicious dinners. During the hottest hours, we enjoyed relaxing around the house. If you can't sleep in the heat, opt for the AC room.

Suurepärase asukohaga David Villa asub Anuradhapura kesklinnas. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, restoran ja tasuta eraparkla. It was the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka during our two-week trip. Our room met all the standards: it was clean, with no signs of mold, the water was sufficiently warm, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The terrace is also a great bonus. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the host, David. Accomodation is close to main sights.

Bangalawa Resort asub Habaranas, Pidurangala kaljult 12 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. I really recommend this place. The pool is great, it feels like a jungle. Breakfasts were better that you can imagine, true Sri Lankan cuisine. However, the best aspect are people working here who are very helpful, nice and smile at you all the time

Clean and comfy hotel in near the Anuradhapura ancient site. We had a wonderful stay in charming Hotel Gamod Citadel . Gently refurbished, preserving the old art deco details and yet with a fresh and up-to-date feel. Very clean and lots of space. Wonderfull breakfast with a choice for every diet. Very kind staff and great value for money. Right in the heart of Anuradhapura Ancient City "

"I recently stayed at Hotel White House in Anuradhapura for a few nights, and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the ancient city, with many historical sites within walking distance. The food was also delicious, and the hotel's restaurant served a great mix of local and international cuisine. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel White House to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Anuradhapura. The value for money was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again."
