Overall, a nice experience with some room for improvement.

You have to walk outside to reach both facilities. The toilet is compost-style (no water flush, you cover with soil after use). For us, comfort and privacy were important, especially for our anniversary, so this arrangement didn’t really work. It’s also worth knowing that during our August visit, nearby farm work with heavy machinery meant it wasn’t always as quiet as we had hoped. Overall, it’s a charming rustic place for those who enjoy nature and don’t mind shared, basic facilities.
