Our cottage was surrounded by lush green and they had great facilities. The spa was top notch and they even had fresh water pool. Brad was a super helpful host and was very accommodating to our requests. He made sure we had everything to make it a memorable stay. Overall a solid guy. It had a nice patio, really good shower, star link internet, a smart TV, great kitchen and super clean linens. I highly recommend Avalon resort.

The surroundings are well kept and the rooms are very clean and cozy. We travelled as a couple with one adult child and the accommodation upstairs suited us perfectly. The hosts were very welcoming and caring. We got all the recommendations for the day in the area. Forest Waters are convenient for everything you want to do in the Bay of Islands. Also the food served at breakfast was excellent, everything home made, from the garden/farm or from the farmer’s market. Delphine and Guillaume went far and beyond. Merci, Delphine and the family!

Marsden Cove Canal Haven with Spa Pool poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu. Whangarei Art Museum se nachází 38 km odtud a Claphams Clock Museum 39 km. The hosts Donna & Neville were great. Nothing too much for them made us very welcome. The room was clean and very modern. There is a microwave, toaster, and kettle, and you are supplied with some food items, milk, butter, jam, cereal, and snacks ect. Lovely view of the canal from the veranda. You are able to use some e-bikes if you want to, although we did not take up the offer. Would I go again? Yes, I would.

Pacific Rendezvous Resort se nachází 20 minut chůze od zálivu Pacific Bay a nabízí soukromou pláž. Nabízí venkovní bazén, gril a pokoje s výhledem na oceán nebo přístav. Lovely property with amazing views. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything needed for self-catering. The bedroom was a bit small, but the bed was quite comfortable. Perfect location to explore the Tutukaka Coast!

Abri Apartments se nachází v destinaci Paihia v oblasti Northland a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, zázemí pro grilování, zahradu a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. Pláž Te Ti Bay Beach je 1,1 km daleko. Beautiful place to stay, you have everything you need, including a full kitchen, smart tv, comfortable bed. You can park in front of the door and it is walking distance from all the restaurants. We had a lot of rain while we were here and we were so happy we were staying in such a comfortable place.

We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.
