Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. The hotel is instagrammable overall with every nook and cranny beautifully decorated with touches of a past era. The room smells good, the bed and mattress are comfortable (my daughter didn't want to get up!), the towels are thick & clean, the garden is beautiful and filled with flowers, and even the room window has flowers planted outside so it was a pretty sight even from inside the room. The dinner at the garden surrounded with these colorful blooms was a delight. The bar & restaurant staff are polite, friendly and attentive. I like that there is a self-service laundry room available for guests to use for a minimum fee. Parking is also available.

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. The man at check-in was extremely friendly and had so many good recommendations. The location is very central, and a lot of Wanaka is within walking distance. Our room was great. It was pretty warm and it took us a minute to figure out the A/C, but once we did all was well.

We arrive in the early evening hours but Check-in was totally smooth & apartments were ready (lighted), very cleaned, well furnished & kitchen fully equipped plus a delicious arrival welcome chocolate treat. These made our 2x5 nites stay exceedingly comfortable. Location was close.enough to Queenstown & Arrowtown with vehicle. Good dining options within 2mins drive from the apartments. Mountain view was fantastic especially with autumn coming. Hosts provided a very helpful comprehensive file on introduction & information of the property, things to do/visit, dining options, host's favourite activities around Queenstown region etc etc. Excellent place to stay in lieu of the Queenstown area. Extremely high chance of our return to the property.

It’s new and clean. Even my cottage needs to use common bath facility, the facility is very clean and convenient, except going to toilet in the middle of night on a rainy day😝. The lake is just in front of the room so it’s very relaxing feeing on sitting at the balcony.

The sauna was amazing, reached 90 degrees, was amazing. Outdoor shower. The bed was incredible comfortable. The decoration of the rooms and how it was all set up, felt like home right away! Dogs that greeted us on arrival. Owners super friendly.

The property itself was lovely, tranquil, and romantic. Rooms were super clean and comfy. The food at the lodge restaurant was excellent. The staff members (all of them) were truly exceptional. Welcoming, kind, and thoughtful people. The evening wine tasting was superb. Our host was engaging and very knowledgeable about all of the wines from the region. She made us feel welcome.
