Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. The hotel is a perfect venue for a wedding, which we attended. Breakfast was exceptional. Other meals very nice. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking easy and safe.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Da Ponte! The house is beautiful, full of charm, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The beds were also extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home during the whole week. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made our stay unforgettable. Even our teenagers loved the place, which says a lot! The breakfasts were delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding region. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines! All rooms have special names with dedicated sweet referred to the room type. 15 minutes walk time downtown.
