The hosts shared so many great tips and helped me research some family history! Monika and David go out of their way to help guests find the best trails, things to do and places to eat. Apartments Pri Jakobu asub Magozdis, umbes 4 km kaugusel Kobaridi kesklinnast. Kohapeal on ühine saun ja mullivann. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. Beautiful apartment, you wake up with a mountain view. We also had a terrace with nice view. There is a sauna and shared space with coffee machine. The owners are very nice. From the apartment you can start a nice walk and see slap Kozjak and Kobarid, with beautiful stops along the river.

Istumisnurgaga Tourist Farm Kranjc asub Kobaridis, 47 km kaugusel Triglavi rahvuspargi infokeskusest. Talumajutusel on privaatne sissepääs, et muuta peatumise ajal mugavamaks. Wooden elements in the rooms and common areas were beautiful, breakfast and dinner were plentiful and very tasty. The views were beautiful.

Apartments Pri nas asub Kobaridis, vaid 800 meetri kaugusel Soča jõest. Kohapeal on kena aed koos välimullivanniga ning igas apartemendis on köök koos kõige vajalikuga. It was just one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The host was kind and funny and greeted me by name when i arrived. The house was spacious and so pretty. There were instructions for everything from the coffee maker to the wifi and restaurant/activity recommendations. It was extremely walkable but also had free parking spaces. I’m so in awe of this place!

We had the most amazing few days at Cottage Trenta. It is totally 'away from it all' and, I will admit, a little daunting when we first got there. I soon relaxed and realised how special it was though and how lucky we were to be there. You literally are in the middle of nowhere, there is a hikers restaurant which is about 1.5 km away (and was incredible) but other than that only a few other small huts and houses, none of which you can see when you are there - you really do need a car. The cottage feels as if it is a part of the landscape, built with and around the rocks. It is basic - the running water is rainwater (drinking water is provided), there's an 'outside' loo, the shower is literally outside - but there's no one to see you washing in the open air, you're surrounded by forests and mountains. However, the modern updates are really well done, there's a wood-fired hot tub to enjoy the peace and stars from, there's free standing bath in the bedroom. Sitting outside for breakfast was one of the most special moments - utter silence other than birds, a moment to enjoy the sunshine reflecting from the mountains. Not a single indication of other people being anywhere near you. It's at the start of the Soca River and you can walk to the source of the river. We spent a day walking the Soca River Trail, which was stunningly beautiful, and then got the bus back to the end of the road. The bedrooms were simple, but what we needed. Ladder-style steps take you upstairs where there are two eaves curtained off with a sleeping area behind each and a double bedroom with the most beautiful view of the mountains. I felt like Heidi! We travelled with our 2 teenage boys and it was the first time they started talking to us that holiday! (There is a little wi-fi but not much - and they didn't need to know that ;-) ) I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but for us it was perfect.

The apartment is beautiful, it has a spacious yard and the friendly hosts even urged us to pick some fresh vegetables from their garden. What a lovely place!

Hotell Sanje ob Soči asub Bovecis, Soča jõest 3 km kaugusel. Hotell pakub hubast õhkkonda ja stiilset kujundust koos tänapäevaste mugavustega (nagu näiteks tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja konditsioneer). Great location. Quiet. Upgraded to penthouse suite so was large and spacious.
