The hotel is small, very nice and clean. The staff was super nice, allways smiling and ready to help. Very close to the city center as well as the night bazar (about 5-7 minutes walk). Breakfast was good (small choice of meal, but tasty and nothing was missing). Our room was cleaned daily and with all amenities (you dont need to bring anything). Amazing bonus was breakfast from 6a.m. and unlimited bottled water, caffe and tea.

It is right at the center of the old town where plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, and massage places abound. It is also a short walking distance to the two most popular temples in old town Chiangmai. We were particularly pleased and pleasantly surprised when the long road next to the hotel was turned into a night shopping street (apparently this is done every Sunday). Right outside the Old City Spa, is a stand alone travel & tours outlet which sells all the famous Chiangmai day tours at a discount. You cannot find anything cheaper elsewhere. This hotel really has every advantage in terms of location. We also love our room. It is quite big and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the block out curtains helped us have a good night sleep. But the best part of The Old City Rooms is the kindness of the owner. They responded to all our queries in a timely manner, accommodated all our requests, made sure we are always comfortable, and in our last day they even allowed us to use the shower after our day tour before our flight even if it was way beyond check out time (we we're also lucky nobody booked the room for that day so we were allowed to check out late). When you stay at this hotel, do not miss the spa experience, which they offer for guests at a huge discount. Amazing spa facilities. We enjoyed everything especially the ice plunge. This hotel is highly recommended and will be my only go-to hotel every time I'm in Chiangmai.

Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. The guest house has a rooftop pool, hot tub and a lift. The hotel is amazing, starting from the staff. Our host was Nude and nice at the beginning she helped us a lot with some guides and with the operation about the transfer. The facilities are excellent as well as the pool. We definitely would book this hotel again if we come back to Thailand.

Yumi, the manager was the best part of our 4 night stay- she was always authentically happy and smiling and there to help with anything. The owner is VERY lucky to have her working for them. The rooms were charming- big rooms- SUPER clean and the pool cool. Nice to be just a little bit outside of the busy part of town. We used GRAB for rides around and very efficient and reasonable. Stay here!!
