Before booking SilQ, I actually visited the hotel to check out a couple of rooms I was interested in. I ended up choosing the Premier Studio because I really liked the layout. After staying at the neighboring Staybridge Suites for over a month, we had a ton of luggage to move, and I’m super grateful to the SilQ staff for helping us with the move, even though it was a really busy time for them. The check-in process was a bit slow, and the elevators could get crowded and take a while during peak hours. There were also a few small issues with the elevators here and there, but the staff was always quick to fix them. During my stay, I really felt the warmth and friendliness of the team—whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the concierge. They genuinely cared about guest feedback, which I really appreciated. The hotel’s ionic onsen is amazing, though you need to book it in advance. The room is super comfortable, with strong water pressure in the shower and a bathroom design that separates wet and dry areas—both of which I loved. Most of the guests here are tourists, whereas the Staybridge Suites and Marriott Apartments next door seem to have more expats working in Bangkok. The hotel also has a tuk-tuk shuttle that runs every hour. While it’s not super frequent, it’s almost never full, and the staff operating it are incredibly nice. After trying out and comparing a few options, I’ve decided to stay at SilQ again. A big thank-you to the team for the thoughtful birthday cake and the welcome fruits when I arrived—it was such a nice touch. I really appreciate the care and attention to detail from the staff at SilQ. Looking forward to my next stay!

Hearty full buffet breakfast - with a mix of asian and continental options. The breakfast needed at least 45 minutes to get through, including sushi, eggs, pastries - you name it. Location of the hotel was good, right on the riverside with a boat and bus shuttle available for resident guests. Plenty of options for guests with many restaurants around the hotel complex with a pretty decent cocktail bar. Service is exemplary, nothing is too much to ask for from the hotel staff always at your service. We all enjoyed our stay at Salil Riverside.

Almost everything. The reading nook, the staff, the rooms were quiet. The beds were comfy. They had great selection of things to watch during rainy periods of the day. A shuttle takes us to the BTS train station. 7Eleven is down the street (super handy if you forget something or are addicted to Thailand’s coke offerings). The staff & management are top notch especially Naye ;She was just A+ both of my stays. And the POOL!!!!! Almost a month later and I’m still missing my Shan family.

Mandarava Resort and Spa, Karon Beach, Karon Beach se nachází jen 10 minut jízdy od pláže Patong, rušného nočního života na ulici Bangla Road a nákupního centra Jungceylon. Čisté krásné pokoje, určitě přijedeme znovu. Krásné místo na odpočinek, pro někoho to muže být až moc v kopci (moc schodů), ale opravdu to stojí za to!
