Ci è sembrato di essere in famiglia, tra la padrona di casa gentilissima e prodiga di informazioni e tutto lo staff simpatico ed informale.

Beds were comfortable but I am used to a very firm mattress. So I suppose I would find most others on the soft side. The location close to the little town and shopping centres of Hazyview which has first class shops like a Woolworths Food where you can buy excellent provisions for a braai or whatever you are planning. Although Hazyview has expanded a lot over the past 30 year since Thulamela was established, this small intimate little B&B with only 6 cabins retains its character and tranquility. Penny, the owner and host is perfect as are the staff, Julia and the lady who brought us our delicious breakfast. Not a cooked breakfast but delicious.

As it’s predominantly glass, it was wonderful watching the animals (deer I believe), come and go while we had breakfast.
