Staff was very friendly, the pool was quiet and very cozy early in the morning and later in the afternoon. During the day it gets a bit busy. The location of the hotel is simply amazing. It has lake view and is really few meters away from the promenade.

The Swiss Wine by Fassbind faces the Lausanne's impressive Gothic Cathedral and is only a few steps away from the city's major shopping district.

Ideal central location, perfect for visiting Lausanne old town and close to the station for making trips to other Swiss towns. Clean, comfortable room. Quiet hotel - ideal for a solo traveller. Breakfast (with amazing view) offered plenty of choice - staff were constantly refilling and restocking.
