I had a room on the fourth floor. It was quiet, big, clean, with a very comfy bed and pillows so I could sleep well. There was a big work desk - nice, if you are travelling for work. I got the welcome bottle of a still water. I liked the electric kettle and the possibility to make a tea in the room, but there was also a nespresso machine for a coffee. The bathroom was big, clean, had a huge shower and there were also Rituals cosmetics so I felt very relaxed in it. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The whole service was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. I will come back again.

It's very clean. The beds are very comfortable. I had a really nice view of the train station, so I relaxed before bed by watching the trains go by. For people who don't enjoy hearing the trains go by, the window holds the sound well and the AC works well, so you don't have to leave the window open. It's very accessible to Zurich (>30 minutes to the main station) and other places thanks to the excellent SBB train services. Check in after reception hours is also easy. In my room there was also one Schuko (type F) outlet along with the swiss ones (which do fit two pronged europlugs). So fitting high power EU electronics should be fine, there was also a note about adapters being available at the reception for a deposit. I plan on staying again sometime in the future.

The new Boutique Hotel Loge is situated in a central and quiet location on the edge of Winterthur's pedestrian zone. The palatial building has a unique charm.
