The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was perfect with a spare bed in situ for our child. The beds were very comfy, and amenities were great. There was a good quality hair dryer. The hotel also has a sauna and fitness room which were great. We didn't eat at the hotel but when we did walk past the food looked good. There was a bakery on the corner of the street which served good food. The tram is also directly outside the hotel which takes you into the center. Getting bolt (uber/taxi) was also very easy.

This hotel stands beside a lake in Cologne’s city forest. It offers quiet rooms, a lakeside beer garden and direct train/bus connections to Cologne's historic centre.
