Excellent location, very comfortable room, helpful and friendly staff, high quality breakfast. They brought us a bottle of drink for our anniversary, what was super sweet. All details in the room are thoughtful and everything is done for comfort. I believe it was the first accommodation where I saw such an attention to details - like signs in the elevator or small treats- but it makes you feel like at home. And excellent sound proof of the hotel!

Alcazaba

This magnificent Moorish fortress was constructed during the 10th century, when Almería was named a 'medina' (city) by the Caliph of Córdoba. The grounds are beautiful, with fountains and gardens spreading out over the hilltop. As you explore, you'll look out over the ancient city and the sea.

A total must when visiting Malaga. Beautiful views and lovely architecture. We had a joint ticket with the castle and walked down .. it was great value. Where sensible shoes as the cobbles can be slippery on the way down.

Visit Gibralfaro first as it's on the hilltop and walk down to Alcazaba - this makes the stroll much easier than what many the opposite, that many tourists do. Also take Uber or bus 35 to reach Gibralfaro rather than walking up the hill.

Alcazaba is probably worth seeing, but I did not think it...

Alcazaba is probably worth seeing, but I did not think it was wonderful. It consists of a bunch of mostly empty rooms and areas. The layout is quite confusing, with lots of turns; it is deliberately confusing for defensive purposes according to our guide. The guide was not very good. She had clearly memorized a speech and got confused by questions.

    Worth the visit.

Worth the visit. Less well know that it's big brother in Granada but very impressive and worth the visit. Really help to do your homework and get an understanding of the time & context of when the building was in use in order to understand how far ahead of the curve the Moorish occupation of southern Spain was & how they sparked the enlightenment period across Europe.

A lovely apartment only a 5 minute walk from the Historical area and the Alcazaba. The apartment was very quiet at night and with only minimal street noise during the day the sun terrace could be enjoyed. The AirCon is effective and quiet.

This is a great hotel very close to the Roman amphitheatre, the Alcazabar and the Castle. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The location is good for exploring. It was our first time in Málaga and we weren't disappointed.

So much better than expected. Funky and nice vibe. Some nice neighbourhood views and access to restos. Not far to walk to the Alcazaba snd historic centre or Flamenvo for those of us that love it! A very short distance to the beach for those luted by the sea. It is accompanied by Belle Epoch mansions not all developments here. Scented flowering bushes in profusion. As the sing goes once you check In you can never leave - snd si, I extended my stay: it reminds me of LA Santa Monica. They must've copied Malaga!!

Since the apartment is equipped with all the necessary appliances, we prepared our own breakfast. The location of the apartment is perfect. Some main attractions, e.g. Plaza de la Merced, the Roman Theater, the Alcazaba, the Museum of Picasso's Birth-house and the Picasso Museum are a 4-10 minute walk away, while the others only take a few minutes more.

The location of this hostel is really great. It's right opposite the market and not far to main attractions like the cathedral and alcazaba. The staff allowed me to store my bag as I had arrived a bit early to check in so I could go exploring the city while awaiting the check in time. There are lockable storage spaces under the beds and a padlock is available from reception. There are privacy curtains around each bed, a small basket and a light in each bed space. There is air conditioning in the room
