Plaza Nueva in Granada and the streets behind the plaza are really nice. The food is generally good, but a little touristy. Walk a bit further and you can get better food for less money. But I love the area and visit it whenever I am in Granada. Tania, the host, was absolutely lovely and communicated very well both prior to and during the stay. The apartment was large and could easily accommodate two people. It had a big, comfortable bed, separate living room space and a kitchen with all the basic necessities. The washing machine was a huge bonus as well. The location was also great; just a few minutes from Plaza Nueva and sitting at the base of the Alhambra (tough walk to get up there though!). Free tapas! Only place in Spain that serves free tapas with your drink, the old fashioned way. Go on a tapas crawl, one bar at a time! Los Diamantes off the plaza Nueva has fantastic seafood tapas and raciones. Open till past midnight, it's easy to see why this place is always packed.Guest review byElmyIreland
