I notice that the staff were down to earth , pleasant and helpful. By the second day I decided I should stay longer. I also liked the complimentary wine which started the evening. The location could not have been better for food and shopping so the lack of on site restaurant didnt matter .

Buckingham Palace

The Crown Jewels lie in the Tower of London, but the Queen’s Guard watches over the head that wears them. Although the role of the red-coated guards is purely ceremonial, join the hordes trying to break their legendary stare – or simply enjoy the pomp and ceremony of the daily Changing of the Guard. In summer, take a tour of the palace’s treasure-filled rooms.

This was amazing and so beautiful.

This was amazing and so beautiful. And very special to be where queen Elizabeth had been. Give yourself plenty of time as so much to see and have tea and cake at the end in the garden - the Victoria sponge is delicious

Very beautiful architecture, beautiful flower gardens. if the King is in residence you may be lucky to see him waving to the people/visitor from the Royal balcony, Statues of the former royals, horses on chariots, gift shop for London souvenirs and Royal family’s souvenirs shop close by. So much to see. Walkable distance to many Historic sites and attractions. Not too far from Downing Street (it’s walkable - I did it).

Headquarters of the British Empire's Colonial and Slave-trading operations. Home of the princes' of hearts, Diana, which millions of iditons came to mourn when she parted a glossy life of privilege. Home of a old bag, thankfully departed now. And her son, the Prince with the big eyes. The famous tampino. Nothing to see here, move along.

It can be very warm in the Palace- loose clothing advised. If you want the loo go first as public toilets are not available until the end of the tour. The Throne room is not the loo!!! It was fantastic and very informative.

The location was a five minute walk from Farringdon tube/train station and local (less than an hour) walk to all the main attractions we wanted to see (Tower of London, St. Pauls Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Nation Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and the theater district). Unit has a full kitchen and supplied coffee and Nespresso machine which was a great. The beds were comfortable.

Good - What previous guests thought, 1,282 reviews
The location was good, nearby bars, restaurans, cafeterias and shops. Very close to metro that can take you to the city centre like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace etc.. and by walk in like 30 minutes you could also got to some turistic parts of city centre . But the personal was really nice and luckily for us we caught this cleaner guy who allowed us to stay in lobby cause we had no where to go since the check in is ať 3pm.

What guests said about Buckingham Palace:

  • London has an enormous amount of green space.

London has an enormous amount of green space. We were located in the Westminster district near Buckingham Palace and there was so much to enjoy just by walking through St. James Park. A stroll to the Thames brings you to the heart of the city. So much to see. An incredible city and the people are great. Don't miss Trafalgar Square.
