It is very central - not far from the bus station or from the railway station, and near all the sights. Breakfast was lovely and the staff really helpful. We know Bury St Edmunds quite well and the location of the Chantry is excellent just a few minuteswalk from the Abbey Gardens and 5 minutes into town. Very old building with modern bathrooms. Located in the center of stores, coffee shops, Cathedral and gardens. Very walkable and friendly. Traditional English breakfasts, delicious and filling, set for the day! Great pub and the Sunday Roast is phenomenal! Don't miss!
